Atlanta Falcons outside linebacker Vic Beasley Jr. is the unanimous choice for NFC South defensive MVP as voted on by the four NFL Nation reporters covering the division for ESPN.com.
Jenna Laine, Tampa Bay Buccaneers reporter: Beasley led the NFL in sacks with 15.5 and finished tied with Bruce Irvin for the league lead in forced fumbles (six). He tied former Bucs great Simeon Rice for second-most sacks in a season in the NFC South since the division began in 2002, and just a sack behind the NFC South record set by John Abraham in 2008.
