Fresh off a win in Miami, the Falcons head back to the friendly confines of Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday to take on NFC South divisional foe the Carolina Panthers.
The Falcons now sit at an even 3-3 after a bit of a disastrous start to the season. They’ve won two straight and are seeking to build on that momentum heading into their second divisional tilt of the season.
The Panthers, looking like a divisional contender through the first couple of weeks, have come crashing back to earth in near comical fashion. They’re now sitting at 2-4, and if reports are correct, are actively involved in trade negotiations with the Houston Texans for quarterback DeShaun Watson.
