With just a few days left before the 2019 NFL Draft, the Falcons front-office continues to make moves to create positional flexibility. The team has announced the signing of veteran safety J.J. Wilcox to a one year deal today.
Wilcox comes to Atlanta after playing in just 2 games in Indianapolis in 2018 and 5 games for the Jets. Prior to that, he spent one year with the Steelers and four years with the Cowboys, where he was starter for several seasons.
A quick peak at his PFF scores reveals a player who has been on the cusp of becoming decent, but has mostly faltered.
