Atlanta has made a habit of protecting or calling up linebacker Edmond Robinson this year, as the veteran and former AAF and XFLer has proven to be a valuable special teamer and useful reserve defender when called upon. His hard work is paying off, because instead of parachuting on and off the roster each week as he sticks on the practice squad, Robinson has been added to the 53 man roster.
Robinson is taking the roster spot spot vacated by Takk McKinley, who the team announced they would be waiving yesterday.
