There’s certainly something to be said for the circular nature of life in the NFL. Dan Quinn is now coaching for his coaching life against the Seattle Seahawks, where he ran the league’s top defense for a couple of years in a row and got hired by this Falcons team, where his defensive reputation is unraveling in front of our eyes.
Make no mistake: Dan Quinn is not making it through this season with a job here in Atlanta, but the question still remains whether Arthur Blank will give him the usual full season before firing him, or if he will decide that things are so bad that an interim option is warranted.
