Well that was fun. If the Falcons can play that well against a quality opponent, then how did we get here? That’s a complicated question and, to be frank, we’ll spend the next 10 months trying to answer it. But their performance today does inspire some confidence going forward. Maybe a complete teardown isn’t necessary. Maybe the Falcons don’t stink.
But alas, there were some injuries today. Let’s break ‘em down.
James Carpenter was carted off the field with a groin injury early in the 4th quarter. The Falcons held a commanding 33-6 lead when Carpenter went down.
