Dan Quinn had good news to share with reporters prior to Wednesday’s practice. Matt Ryan and Desmond Trufant would return to practice Wednesday, albeit on a limited basis.
The official injury report released Wednesday afternoon confirmed as much. Both Ryan (ankle) and Trufant (toe) were limited in the first full post-bye week practice.
Ryan has been dealing with an ankle injury that kept him out of the Falcons’ loss to the Seahawks. The bye week came at a good time, and it’s encouraging that he was able to practice today.
