As often comes with a team in a down year, injuries are setting in with the 2019 Atlanta Falcons.
Matt Ryan, Grady Jarrett, Desmond Trufant, James Carpenter and Ito Smith were all held out of Thursday’s practice, leaving all of them in doubt for Sunday.
Ryan, of course, has a high ankle sprain, though Ledbetter said Ryan was walking without a boot on, which bodes well for the immediate future.
It’s his second missed day, so don’t expect him to be very likely to return to action this week.
