We just learned what moves the Falcons made to make room for new punter Matt Wile, and I’m guessing most of you are going to dislike one of those moves.
To get Wile added to the practice squad, as well as new offensive lineman Nate Wozniak, the Falcons cut ties with Austin Larkin and Carson Meier. Yes, the Austin Larkin who had a stellar preseason and pushed for a roster spot. You may swear softly under your breath.
It’s frustrating to see the Falcons cut ties with Larkin, but he could be back at some point.
