That might have been the worst total team effort in a football game for the Falcons since the 2012 NFC Wild card game against the Giants when they were on the losing end of a 24 to 2 butt-kicking.
Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong for the Falcons. The three turnovers, the play of the offensive line, and the play of the defense were all not what we expected to see from the Falcons given the strides that were made during the offseason.
Sunday left a sour taste in the mouths of the Falcons faithful but all is not lost.
