FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Falcons have activated linebacker to the active roster and placed linebacker (concussion) on injured reserve.
After suffering a chest injury that placed him on short-term IR to start the season, Reynolds returned to practice prior to Atlanta’s Week 7 against the New England Patriots.
Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers (5-3) is the earliest Reynolds is able to return to game action.
Reynolds is one of Atlanta’s special teams’ aces and he also provides depth at linebacker which the Falcons (4-3) are in need of with rookie Duke Riley undergoing knee surgery last week.
