Keith Smith was one of the first players to hit the reserve/COVID-19 list for the Falcons, as he hit the list along with Jamal Carter back on July 29. Now two weeks or so later, Smith is cleared, and we’re just waiting to see when Carter will return.
Per Keith Smith’s Instagram and thanks to the eagle-eyed Evan Birchfield, Smith is back in the facility as of today. I’d expect an official announcement sometime today, and I believe the roster currently has one open spot, so there likely won’t be a move until they bring back Carter and/or sign Luke Stocker, as they’re expected to do shortly.
