After making moves earlier in the week, the Atlanta Falcons shortened their roster to the mandatory 80 players they could have in camp without splitting the team into two parts. The team had three players in fullback Keith Smith, safety Jamal Carter and defensive tackle Tyeler Davison remaining on the team’s COVID-19/reserve list.
On Wednesday afternoon, the team announced that Davison was activated to the roster and they have waived linebacker Ahmad Thomas to keep the team at 80 players.
