The Panthers fired “Riverboat” Ron Rivera yesterday, which is an interesting development. The writing was on the wall for Rivera already, much like many believe it is for Falcons head coach Dan Quinn. Whether their decision to part ways with Rivera with 4 regular season games remaining on the schedule will set them up for success in 2020 remains to be seen.
