The Atlanta Falcons Coach of the Week program recognizes 12 high school football coaches across the state of Georgia for their hard work and dedication to making a difference in student-athletes’ lives on and off the field over the course of the season. The final winner of the season is Shawn Jones of Eagle’s Landing High School in McDonough.
Jones was nominated by E. Fay Willis, the booster club president at Eagle’s Landing.
“Coach Jones positively impacts the lives of those he teaches as well as the coaches on his staff,” Willis said in the nomination. “He makes the learning experience fun on and off the field.
