Does Steve Sarkisian get a pass for Sunday’s poor offensive performance?

Falcons offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian has a tough gig. When he first took over for Kyle Shanahan, the offense seemed nearly unstoppable. Add in the ongoing emergence of Tevin Coleman and a prudent first round investment in Calvin Ridley; that’s a recipe for success most of the time. But Sark’s successes have been strangely and inexplicably intermittent. Depending on who you ask, that’s the result of poor execution or, in the alternative, Sark just can’t coach.

Sunday’s loss to the Ravens was embarrassing. The run game was nonexistent and Matt Ryan once again found himself on his back at an uncomfortable clip.
