The Falcons certainly missed running back Devonta Freeman on the field on Sunday after he left the game with a concussion. Dan Quinn confirmed prior to Wednesday's practice that Freeman would be held out on Wednesday as he moves through the league's concussion protocol. I would consider Freeman unlikely to play on Sunday just based on the time it generally takes for a player to come through the protocol.
Wide receiver Leonard Hankerson, who has a hamstring injury, was also held out of Wednesday's practice.
