That would seem to be a good sign for the second-year signal caller, who turned in mixed results in an extremely brief four game audition for the starting job, given that he steadily improved over the course of that nearly quarter season.
Yet all that excitement has not led the Falcons to anoint Ridder the starting quarterback, and if they do so at all, it will likely be after a summer where he’s competing with a veteran the team will sign sometime in March.
