The Falcons came into tonight’s game as the consensus underdog. Such is the case when you play inconsistent football for the majority of the season. Add in the fact that the Falcons are looking to take down the 9-1 Saints and, well, it’s recipe for disaster.
The first quarter followed a predictable plot line. The Falcons won the toss and inexplicably elected to defer. The Saints promptly scored and took a 7-0 lead. After a Matt Ryan red zone fumble, things were looking bleak. That’s where ballhawk extraordinaire Damontae Kazee comes in.
