The Cleveland Browns signed defensive tackle Justin Zimmer off of the Atlanta Falcons practice squad on Tuesday afternoon. It’s exactly the kind of news you’d expect for this team during this year.
Zimmer went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, and was signed by the Buffalo Bills. After spending some time on the New Orleans Saints practice squad and the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes, Zimmer was signed by the Atlanta Falcons on April 17, 2018. Zimmer made the Falcons roster and made his regular season debut in Week 3, recording no stats.
