Bringing back Kemal Ishmael adds depth to several areas for the Falcons as Ishmael has proven to add depth at both Safety and LB during his time in Atlanta and he is another good piece for special teams; which has been area the Falcons have bolstered and made a priority over the last year.
Ishmael will be the seventh linebacker on the Falcons roster heading into the 2019 season and it will be interesting to see just how the depth breaks down and who is on the opening game active roster. During his six seasons as an Atlanta Falcon, the 2013 seventh round pick, has five interceptions, 231 tackles and three fumble recoveries.
