Former Alabama center Landon Dickerson actually began his career at Florida State University. Dickerson started seven games as a freshman before a knee injury sidelined him for the rest of the season, and he also played four games as a sophomore before another injury ended that season. After experiencing another injury in 2018, he was granted a medical redshirt for that season.
After transferring to Alabama as a redshirt junior, Dickerson played all 13 games, starting at right guard before settling in at center. As a redshirt Senior, Dickerson won the Rimington trophy, which is awarded to the best center, before suffering another injury in the SEC championship game.
