With the No. 42 overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons have drafted Jalen Collins out of LSU.
Position: Cornerback
Measurables: 6’1”, 203 lbs, 32” arm length, 9.5” hands
Analysis:
Collins is extremely talented cornerback and brings the entire triangle (height, weight, speed) with him. He still needs to improve his technique, but the instincts and athleticism to make plays on the ball both short and deep are what set him apart. He's definitely a work in progress, but Dan Quinn should help him reach his full potential.
