Yankees’ Luis Severino feeling ‘really good’ following second straight dominant outing

It’s been a season to forget for Yankees right-hander Luis Severino.

The impending free agent called himself the “worst starter in the game” not too long ago, and heading into his last outing he’d pitched to a brutal 11.08 ERA and 2.31 WHIP across 31.2 innings since the beginning of July.

Thankfully, Severino was able to take a big step in the right direction his last time out though, as he put together his best start of the year at Yankee Stadium against the Nationals. He earned his third win after allowing just one hit and two walks over 6.
