Wisler struggles, Braves get shutout and swept by Nationals

Well, this one was an ugly game for the Braves in just about every way imaginable.

The pitching was bad, the hitting was bad, and the fielding was bad.

Matt Wisler failed to duplicate his success in his debut as the Nationals were able to hit him quite hardly in his four innings of work. He gave up nine hits and six runs - though only four of them were earned. A couple errors from Nick Markakis and Kelly Johnson plus a failed double play turn hurt Wisler on the mound, but his stuff was far from electric.
