The Atlanta Braves have now locked up their young superstars Ronald Acuna Jr. and Ozzie Albies to team friendly deals, so it’s time they take care of Freddie Freeman.
Before the 2014 season, the Atlanta Braves gave their star first baseman an 8-year, $135 million extension.
Before you start comparing that deal to the ones Acuna and Albies got, Freddie got that extension after his third full year in the big leagues.
Still, that deal has turned out to be a steal, so you can only imagine how good the deals for Acuna and Albies could be.
