The series opener between the Mets and Atlanta Braves on Tuesday night has been delayed due to weather.
The Braves announced the news minutes prior to the originally scheduled first pitch of 7:05 p.m. A new start time was not provided at the time of the announcement.
"The start of tonight’s game will be delayed due to weather. We will pass along updates as soon as we have them," the team wrote on Twitter.
Carlos Carrasco, who is coming off back-to-back strong starts against the Phillies and Cubs, is on the mound for the Mets on Tuesday.
