CHICAGO -- Preston Tucker's three-run homer added to Yu Darvish's fifth-inning struggles and provided more than enough support to an efficient Anibal Sanchez, who looked like more than a short-term rotation filler as he guided the Braves to a 4-0 win over the Cubs on Friday afternoon at Wrigley Field.
Sanchez recorded four of his six strikeouts through the first two innings and escaped bases-loaded jam in the third on the way to completing six scoreless innings. The veteran right-hander consistently induced soft contact as he limited the Cubs to just three hits -- all singles.
