ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta Braves legends Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones and Andrés Galarraga - who were All-Stars the last time Atlanta hosted the All-Star Game in 2000 - will throw out the ceremonial first pitch during Tuesday’s All-Star Game at Truist Park.
Chipper Jones spent 19 seasons (1993-2012) with the Braves, earning eight All-Star nominations, the 1999 NL MVP, a batting title and was a member of the 1999 World Series champion Braves team. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018.
Andruw Jones spent 12 seasons with Atlanta, recording over 1,500 hits and 350 home runs with the Braves.
