This Day in Braves History: June 20

1912 - This is the very definition of a wild game. The Giants entered the eighth inning leading the Boston Braves 14-2, then scored seven more runs in the ninth to extend the lead to 21-2. The Braves then rally for 10 runs in the bottom half of the inning losing 21-12. The 17 runs scored are the NL post-1900 record for runs scored by two teams in the ninth inning.
