This Day in Braves History: July 20

1965 - The Braves score seven runs in the seventh to beat the Mets, 7-1. Hank Aaron’s two-run shot off of Larry Miller caps the scoring.

1970 - In a 1-1 game, Chicago’s Ken Holtzman walks Hank Aaron to pitch to Tommie Aaron who makes him pay with a two-run homer for a 3-1 win.

1985 - Darryl Strawberry homers twice and drives in seven runs as the Mets defeat the Braves 16-4.
