In his pregame media session Tuesday, Brian Snitker provided another update on a pair of injured Braves’ hurlers. Max Fried is currently scheduled to throw a live BP session on Thursday and if all goes well, will be activated to start on Tuesday or Wednesday in Washington against the Nationals. Snitker said that Chris Martin is scheduled to throw another bullpen sometime this week and will then likely work in a pair of sim games at the alternate site. He could be activated at some point next week.
The Braves haven’t listed a starter for Thursday’s series finale against the Cubs and Snitker wasn’t ready to do so on Tuesday either.
