The Atlanta Braves did not wait around for Friday’s deadline to protect players from the Rule 5 Draft as they added left-handed prospect Kyle Muller to the 40-man roster. Muller is the only no-doubt addition and we will see if they add anyone else before Friday’s deadline. The next big item on the offseason calendar will be the non-tender deadline which is coming up on December 2. It is expected that the financial uncertainty facing the league will result in a large number of arbitration eligible players being non-tendered. The Braves will have some interesting decisions to make among their arbitration eligible players.
