The bench for the Atlanta Braves continues to be a work in progress as they reportedly reached an agreement with veteran Jake Lamb on what is expected to be a major league deal. The deal is reportedly pending a physical which will take place on Monday for position players with the first full squad workout scheduled for Tuesday. The Braves opened a spot on the 40-man roster Sunday by outrighting outfielder Travis Demeritte to Triple-A. If Lamb passes his physical, an official announcement is likely coming Monday.
The Braves may not be finished either.
