The Atlanta Braves will begin to pick up their activity as they continue to prepare for the 2020 regular season. Snitker said that Tuesday’s workout felt more like spring training as the team is settling into camp and hopefully has put some of the bad news behind them. Snitker said that the team will hold “controlled scrimmages” the remainder of this week and will be an intrasquad game on Monday that will include umpires in a game like setting.
Both Mike Soroka and Max Fried are scheduled to pitch in Wednesday’s scrimmage and Snitker said that the team will be looking for starters to begin stretching themselves out.
