The Daily Chop: Home Runs Help Braves Win, Bullpen Bounces Back, Plus More

The Braves certainly do love their home runs.

Atlanta hit three more of them on Sunday to earn another series win in a 5-3 victory over the Marlins. Since the start of August, the Braves lead the National League in home runs, and are now 18-4 in the 22 games they have hit three or more home runs this season. Though they may be a bit too reliant on the long ball at times, it certainly is a reliable source of success for the Braves.

Freddie Freeman connected with his 30th home run of the season on Sunday, It may come as a bit of surprise to some that this is only the third time Freeman has hit over 30 home runs in a season.
