The Atlanta Braves followed up Saturday’s stunning come from behind win with a 6-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday. The Braves take the series and are back at .500 for the season at 17-17.
Huascar Ynoa continued his strong start on the mound while Freddie Freeman homered for the second straight day and went 3-for-3 with a walk at the plate. Atlanta’s bullpen also did the job as Tyler Matzek, A.J. Minter and Luke Jackson kept the Phillies in order over the final three innings.
It appears that Atlanta’s bullpen is about to get some reinforcements.
