Sunday ended in victory for both the Atlanta Braves and the Gwinnett Stripers.
However, neither win happened without a bit of drama.
The Braves won 5-4 despite the Atlanta bullpen struggling on back-to-back days for the first time in quite a while. The Stripers won via a game-winning hit off the bat of Travis d’Arnaud, in what hopefully will be his final bat anywhere other than Atlanta this season.
Overall, it was a successful week for the Braves. They won five of their six games, are now within two games of new NL East leader Philadelphia, and got major contributions from their trade deadline additions.
