It was a triumphant night at Truist Park for the Atlanta Braves. They went into the evening with two wins over the Phillies, only needing this last win to secure the NL East division title, and they delivered.
The first run came in the bottom of the first inning, a monster home run of 465 feet from Jorge Soler. Austin Riley also homered, Dansby Swanson doubled, and Ozzie Albies tripled, all to help bring the final score to 5-3. Ian Anderson took some time to find his rhythm, but ultimately got there in the end, only earning two runs.
