The rough start to the 2021 season continued Tuesday for the Atlanta Braves who suffered a blowout loss to the Miami Marlins and have now lost three straight games. The Braves shuffled their lineup in hopes of jumpstarting their offense Tuesday but Max Fried struggled for the second straight start. Fried allowed a career-high seven earned runs in just four innings. He has allowed 12 earned runs over his past six innings spanning two starts.
As bad as Atlanta’s 4-7 start looks, it is worth remembering that it is still April and there is a long way to go.
