Tanaka stifles offense as a pair of big innings doom Braves in 7-4 loss to Yankees

The Braves made best efforts to rally from a 7-1 deficit, but a a couple of offensive outbursts from the Yankees and a strong start from Masahiro Tanaka were too much to overcome as the Braves fell to the Yankees by the score of 7-4.

Bryse Wilson took the hill for the Braves and had an excellent first inning which saw him set the Yankees down in order including strikeouts of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. The second inning didn’t start nearly as well for Bryse as Luke Voit led the inning off with a solo home run to give the Yankees a 1-0 lead.
