The 2021 Atlanta Braves won the World Series. That really happened.
After the final out of Game 6 on Tuesday, the Talking Chop crew celebrated in earnest but, eventually, TC’s Brad Rowland, Scott Coleman and Eric Cole convened to discuss what transpired as the Braves broke a 26-year drought between championships. Episode 327 is the product of that discussion and the show touches on the following:
- Jorge Soler hit a baseball a very long way to finalize his World Series MVP profile and give the Braves a lead they would never relinquish
- Dansby Swanson added much needed insurance on a night when he and Ozzie Albies played great defense and produced at a high level
- Freddie Freeman knocked in the final two runs and caught the final out in fitting fashion
- There is so much credit to share, from Brian Snitker to Alex Anthopoulos to the players, coaches and the entire organization
- Appreciating the run for what it’s been and how much fun was had
- Much, much more
