Ryan Weber provided a strong showing in his MLB debut, but it wasn't enough to make up for futile offense in a 5-0 defeat.
The 25-year-old right-hander performed quite well in his MLB debut on Tuesday evening, but the offense for the Atlanta Braves let him down in a big way. Phillies youngster Aaron Nola blanked the visiting Braves over seven innings, and that performance was enough to claim a 5-0 win and return the favor from Monday night's Atlanta victory.
Very little was expected from Weber on this night, but he passed his first test with flying colors.
