The Atlanta Braves are trying to get themselves going after Ronald Acuna Jr. recently returned following the torn ACL that had kept him out for about a full calendar year.
They achieved an impressive 5-0 shutout win over the New York Mets on Wednesday, giving them their fifth victory in their last six games. They can go for a sweep of the Mets on Thursday when they wrap up their three-game series versus Juan Soto and crew.
Acuna had one hit in three at-bats, and that one hit turned out to be a home run in the bottom of the first inning.
