Phillies shortstop Trea Turner left off National League roster for MLB All-Star Game

The Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be held Tuesday, July 15 in the Atlanta Braves' Truist Park and - just as sure as daily thunderstorms in Florida during the summer - the cries of foul ball are being heard across the nation when it comes to players being left off the American and National League rosters.

One of those snubbed players is the Philadelphia Phillies' Trea Turner, the former Park Vista standout, who is hitting .299 with 11 home runs and 39 RBI heading into the July 7th game in San Francisco. The 32-year-old shortstop is leading the National League in hits (109), has scored 61 runs and has 22 stolen bases in addition to 18 doubles and two triples.
