Padres predicted to face competition from Braves for right-handed flame thrower

For the San Diego Padres to have the trade deadline they're looking to have, they'll need other teams around the league not to buy.

When recently looking at players who could be dealt at the deadline, CBS Sports linked them to Edward Cabrera of the Miami Marlins. However, CBS Sports also noted that the Atlanta Braves could be a team interested, which could complicate this matter.

The Padres are in a better position than the Braves right now to buy, and with Atlanta sitting at 38-45, 11.0 games out in the National League East, it's possible that the front office won't decide to buy.
