While I don’t follow baseball as religiously as I used to do, I did watch quite a bit of the recent World Series, which was won by the Atlanta Braves.
Yet the one thought that’s stuck with me about that series has nothing to do with anything that happened on the field. Rather it has everything to do with what was going on with the Braves fans during the games that were held in Atlanta.

And here’s the nagging thought:
Isn’t it ridiculous and breathtakingly out of touch that people still feel comfortable uttering stereotypical Indigenous chants and making exaggerated “Tomahawk Chop” arm gestures while watching Atlanta Braves baseball games?
