Matt Kemp is nursing a sore hammy and will be replaced by Jace Peterson, the only credible reserve on the team due mainly to his versatility — not his career .333 slugging percentage. Peterson will bat 7th, with Adonis and his lifetime .694 OPS vs. right-handers moving to clean-up.
