NLCS Game 7 preview: Braves rookie Ian Anderson may prove to be the difference against Dodgers

ARLINGTON, Texas — When Major League Baseball designed its 2020 league championship series to be staged over seven days as part of its pandemic workaround, it did so with the knowledge that Game 7s are relatively rare, that the chances of playing seven games without a break was, relatively speaking, remote.

So naturally, the American League and National League both went the full seven games, the first time that’s happened since 2004.

The Tampa Bay Rays survived their win-or-go-home game Saturday and now the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers will battle for the right to stick around at Globe Life Field for the World Series.
