Los Angeles’ SP has a great matchup tonight against the San Diego Padres. The Padres are batting .173 with 16 strikeouts in 55 at bats against Buehler. So far this Playoffs the Padres are struggling against opposing right handed pitchers batting .294 with 21 strikeouts in 74 at bats. The Padres are hitting much better against left handed pitchers batting .357 in 28 Playoff at bats. The stat that really caught my eye was that eight of the Padres starting nine are batting a combined 8 for 50 with 16 strikeouts against Buehler. Enough said? Buehler has averaged 15.
